We have some serious baby bumps going on so today I am getting my lambing supplies together. I don’t know about your place but at this ranch if I need something its always at 2 o’clock in the morning and I cant find it or I’m out of it. So this year I will be ready, here  are some of the things I like to keep on hand.

1. Rubber gloves
2. OB lube
3. Leg puller
4. Pen G any ewe that needs help gets a shot
5. Needles and syringes
6. Digital Thermometer
7. Iodine
8. Powdered Colostrum and Lamb milk replacer
9. Nipples
10. Propylene for Pregnancy Toxemia
11. Calcium for Milk fever and a 50 cc syringe
12. Drench gun
13. Dex, Banamine, Vitamin B Complex
14. Ear Tags and gun
15. Scales and sling
16. Record book
17. Karo syrup
18. Plenty of clean rags, towels and a couple extra shirts. (Somehow I always use my shirt to clean noses and mouths of newborn lambs).
19. Last but not least a deep breath !
